Tom Hafen is currently Vice President of Marketing Communications at Goldman Sachs where he leads consumer communications on Marcus by Goldman Sachs. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Hafen was Head of Marketing on National Growth Brands at Nestle Waters USA. Hafen's past roles include leading marketing for the Gerber Infant Formula Business at Nestle, managing the Iams pet care brand at Procter and Gamble, and leading U.S. marketing for tablets and phones at Microsoft.
He also helped lead the Winnie the Pooh brand at the Walt Disney Corporation. He has been a Lecturer in Management at Yale University School of Management and an Adjunct Professor of Marketing at Columbia Business School. His publications include research on digital marketing, social media, and U.S. business history. Hafen holds an MBA and PhD from the University of Chicago.
